Vienna is the capital and most populated city of Austria. This city's history dates back to 500 BC, when it was founded by the Celts. Vienna once grew as the capital of Holy Roman Empire and was established as the capital of Austria in 1918.
Vienna is not only known for their history, it is also very rich in the arts and is home to theaters such as Burgtheater, Volkstheater Wien, the Theater in der Josefstadt and landmarks like the Imperial Palace and Schönbrunn Palace. Architectural styles varying from classicist buildings to modern architecture can be seen in many buildings. Major churches like St. Stephen's Cathedral and Deutschordenskirche attract a lot of people annually. Vienna is the birthplace for the famous composer Mozart and piano artist Beethoven.
This is a well known place for higher education, with educational institutions like Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration, Medical University of Vienna, Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, University of Vienna and Vienna University of Technology.
