[edit] Guide Note
The Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventures is an action-adventure video game for the Nintendo GameCube. The game was developed and published by Nintendo and released on June 7, 2004. The game makes use of the Game Boy Advance in multiplayer mode, where each player uses his or her own GBA as a controller.
After Link's mischievous alter ego Shadow Link begins wreaking havoc across the land of Hyrule, it's up to Link to use the power of the Four Sword to stop him. By using the Four Sword, Link can split himself into four Links, with each one being a different color. After tracking down Shadow Link for the majority of the game, Link comes to find out that Ganon was the mastermind of the sinister plot the entire time. Link must then fight off his greatest nemesis and seal him away in the Four Sword.
[edit] Gameplay
The Legend of Zelda Four Swords Adventures plays similarly to many of the other Legend of Zelda games. The game is a 3-D side-scroller, with the characters of the game behind seen from above and moving from screen to screen. However, if the player goes into a cave, the game then switches to a 2-D side-scroller. The player must fight his way through each level using Link's sword and various other items, while simultaneously collecting at least 1,000 Force Gems.
