As Bruce Banner attempts to build a machine to "cure" himself of becoming The Hulk, a missile sent by The Division, a specialized branch of NASA, comes crashing into Banner's cabin. The Division's goal is to deal with the threat of mutated humans, and the organization is led by Emil Blonsky and General Thunderbolt Ross. As the game progresses, players search for the parts necessary to build the machine that will forever rid Banner of his loathsome alter-ego. When Blonsky is exposed to gamma radiation early in the game, he becomes The Abomination. The player is forced to fight The Abomination several times throughout the game. Blonsky's jealousy of Banner's knowledge of gamma radiations fuels his anger for the good doctor, and in the end, the feud between their two alter-egos ends in strife.
[edit] Gameplay
The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction allows the player to freely roam the world, while destroying any and everything in The Hulk's path. Players are given the liberty to stray away from the story of the game if they would just like to run around and cause mass destruction. The player may leap and/or climb over any obstacle they face; running through the blocking structure is also possible. Interestingly enough, vehicles can be destroyed and can even used as damage-increasing gloves.
