Academy Award winner Adrien Brody stars with Mark Ruffalo in a new film, to be released in October 2008, that weaves together a story of crime, comedy, romance and drama. Rian Johnson, the director of BRICK, writes and directs a fantastic crime film about two brothers who make their living off of conning millionaires. Things finally go awry when they meet a rich and beautiful heiress played by follow Academy Award winner Rachel Weisz.

A film budgeted at $20 million USD tells the story of world-renowned con men, the Brothers Bloom. The brothers Stephen (Ruffalo) and Bloom (Brody) have lived off of the wealth from their elaborate schemes involving unsuspecting millionaires for years. When the brothers finally decide to call it quits they partner up with sidekick Bang-Bang (Kikuchi) for one last $2.5 million job: conning the beautiful heiress Penelope (Weisz). Little do they know that this last con with the eccentric heiress will lead them on a search not just for money, but also for adventure and romance around the globe.
