My name's Vika Zafrin, and I'm a computing humanist.
I just finished up a PhD in Humanities Computing, which is just what it sounds like, and also a long story. A short introduction to my dissertation work RolandHT, interesting if you like mythology and epic poems and Stephen King, is here. And the actual work, viewable with an XSLT-aware browser such as Firefox, is here! Forgive me if it takes a few seconds to load; it's very quick after that.
These days I'm job-searching (got job?) and also working as a Part-Time Guide for Mahalo, creating search results pages to blow you away. That's the idea, anyway. I find the project socially interesting, and am greatly enjoying my time here.
