  • 1962: Moved to New York, New York
  • 1963: Aragonés' first contribution, "A Mad Look at the U.S. Space Effort", to Mad Magazine is published in Mad #76
  • 1967: Begins work at DC Comics, writing Bat Lash
  • 1973: Illustrates stories for DC Comics' Plop!
  • 1981: Debuted Groo the Wanderer in Destroyer Duck #1
  • 1982: Pacific Comics begins publishing Groo the Wanderer
  • 1984: Pacific Comics goes out of business and Groo moves to Marvel Comics
  • 1994: Groo the Wanderer moves to Image Comics
