Serge Gainsbourg was a singer-songwriter, actor and director. During his career, in addition to writing many songs, he wrote the soundtrack of nearly 40 films and directed four. His most famous song Je t'aime ... Moi non plus, included simulated sounds of female orgasm. Although it was originally recorded with Brigitte Bardot, was launched with another singer Jane Birkin. This song was censored in many countries and was considered pornographic. In 1978 he recorded Aux Armes et caeetera a reggae version of the French national anthem La Marseillaise. This cost him threats of death. Gaisbourg died of a heart attack and was buried in the Montparnasse Cemetery.
