[edit] Guide Note
The NutriSystem diet was renamed NutriSystem Advanced in 2008. It is a meal delivery service, where prepackaged diet foods are delivered once a month. The foods are shelf-stable, requiring no refrigeration. The diet is designed around low glycemic principles, and the company claims that the foods have been reformulated for 2008 to include more fiber and omega-3 fatty acids.1
