Naughty by Nature is a hip-hop group that was formed in 1989 when the three members were attending the same high school. Originally the band was called The New Style and they began being presented in talent shows until Queen Latifah discovered them few years later. She incorporated them to Tommy Boy Records where they carried out their debut album Naughty by Nature in 1991. It generated hits as O.P.P and Guetto Bastard (this track is also known as Everything's Gonna Be ALright). The group repeated their success in 1993 with the album 19 Naughty III reaching the Top Five and went platinum. 1995' s Poverty' s Paradise was the last album carried out with Tommy Boy and was winner of the Grammy for Best Rap Album. In 1999 they released their album titled Naughty Nine: Nature' s Fury and Kay Gee decides concentrate on his production career. The album Ilcons, released in 2002, was the first album realized as a duo.
