Max Roach was a Jazz percussionist, drummer and composer most often identified with bebop/hard bop. Roach has worked with a number of great jazz musicians, including Dizzy Gillespie, Charlie Parker, Miles Davis, Sonny Rollins, and Clifford Brown.
