Laura Wright was born and raised in Clinton, Maryland. She was born on September 11, 1970. When she was in the eighth grade she began to develop an interest in acting. Wright appeared in school plays such as Gypsy, Our Town and You Can't Take it With You. She also appeared in fashion shows and local commercials.1
