Guide Note:Kevin Randleman, who was born in Ohio, is a professional Mixed Martial Arts fighter, who has fought in Japan and Brazil as well as the United States. Kevin started wrestling at ten years old and won a state championship in high school. He wrestled for Ohio State University, and won the Big Ten Championship 3 times, and won the Nationals twice. Kevin's college coach and roommate was Mark Coleman, who he now fights for. Randleman has faced fighters such as Kazuhiro Nakamura, PRIDE heavyweight champion Fedor Emelianenko, MMA legends Kazushi Sakuraba and Bas Rutten, former UFC light heavyweight champion Chuck Liddell, UFC light heavyweight champion Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, and UFC superstar Randy Couture. Despite losing to the named fighters, Randleman does hold notable wins over PRIDE's 2006 Open-Weight Grand Prix champion Mirko "Cro Cop Filipovic, former Elite XC middleweight champion Murilo "Ninja" Rua, Pedro Rizzo, and MMA legend Maurice Smith. He recently has been in training at the Randy Couture gym in Las Vegas, Nevada. In June of 2008, he will be fighting with the organization in Japan called World Victory Road.
