Kevin Millar currently plays with the Baltimore Orioles in the position of first base. Before coming to the Orioles he played for the Boston Red Soxs, where he became a fan favorite. He phrased the term "Cowboy Up" to rally team up. The cowboy up phrase was trade marked by Millar and makes .34 cents every time it is used. He has collect royalties stemming from his trademark, totaling $750,000 through 2007. Millar began his baseball career in the minors and soon the Florida Marlins bought his contract in 1993,but he broke into major league play in 1998. He was a replacement player during the 1994-95 Major League Baseball strike,and now he is barred from joining the Major League Baseball Players Association. In 2003 was traded to the Boston Red Soxs, where he played in the World Series in 2004, helping the Soxs win. He is one of the few players to get 3 home runs in one game, while playing in 2004 with the Red Soxs. In 2006 , he signed with Baltimore Orioles as a free agent. And he has reached base in 52 consecutive games. He is listed in the Top 500 Home Run hitters of all time.In the 2007 American League Championship Series, he threw out the first pitch at Fenway Park for the Boston Red Sox vs. Cleveland Indians game. He is the nephew of retired baseball outfielder Wayne Nordhagen, who played with the Chicago White Soxs
