Guide Note:The Grand Canyon National Park is one of the most awe inspiring sites in the US, it is considered one of the "seven natural wonders of the world" and is one of the oldest national parks in the U.S. The park itself covers over one million acres of land in Arizona and at it's widest point the canyon is approximately eighteen miles wide and a mile deep. There are nearly five million visitors to the park each year.
