Felix Jones, who was born in Oklahoma, was a college football running back at the University of Arkansas. He left college in his junior year to be eligible for the 2008 NFL Draft, which he is one of the top prospects.

Jones played at Booker T. Washington High School in Oklahoma under head coach Antwain Jimmerson. Even with a broken ankle, in his senior year, he racked up 80 yards rushing, with 20 touchdowns. He had a career total of 2,282 yards with 48 touchdowns.

Jones was offered scholarships from Tennessee, Texas A&M, Kansas, Louisiana State, and Nebraska, and decided to go to the University of Arkansas, even though he had signed a letter of intent to go to Oklahoma State. He started 11 games of the 36 he played in to finish 22nd in the country with a total of 2,956 yards with 20 touchdowns.

Jones is ranked fourth among the running backs on the draft board. He is predicted to go to the Dallas Cowboys late in the first round picks.
