Guide Note:Chi McBride (pronounced "Shy") originally sought a career in music and scored a hit song in the mid-80s with the parody, "He's the Champ," about Mike Tyson. He began acting at the age of 30, playing numerous television and film roles including Boston Public, The Nine The Terminal and Let's Go To Prison. McBride stars in the new ABC comedy-drama, Pushing Daisies as detective, "Emerson Cod."
