Chad Henne is a football player who played quarterback for the Michigan Wolverines from 2004 to 2008. He will begin his National Fooball League career following the 2008 NFL Draft.

Growing up in West Lawn, Pennsylvania Henne attended Wilson High School where he received numerous honors. Henne was named first team all-state by the Associated Press as a senior, three time first team All-Berks County Quarterback selection, All-Berks/Lancaster Lebanon Offensive Back, second team All-State honors as a junior and Parade magazine All-american as a senior. Following his high school career Henne played in the U.S Army All-American Bowl.
[edit] Leading The Michigan Wolverines
Henne started at quarterback his freshman season at Michigan becoming the first to do so since Rich Leach in 1975. He led the team to the 2005 Rose Bowl losing to Texas 38-37. The 2005 season started with a three wins and three loss record before winning the final four games and heading to the Alamo Bowl losing to Nebraska 32-28. Henne led the Wolverines to an 11-0 record in 2006 and a Rose Bowl appearance losing to USC 32-18. His senior season was marked by injuries, missing 2 games but Henne came back to lead the Wolverines to the Capital One Bowl victory over the Florida Gators.

Henne finished his collegiate career with the second most touchdown passes in Big Ten history. Acknowledged for his accoomplishments in 2006 he was a Manning Award, a Maxwell Award seminfinalist and a Davey O'Brien Award seminfinalist. In 2008 following his senior season, Henne was named Capital One Bowl MVP and Senior Bowl North Offensive MVP.
