American Music Club is a group of San Francisco founded in 1982 and led by singer and songwriter Mark Eitzel. The band is known for combining the various facets of American music in a unique synthesis of jazz, rock, country and punk. The band was disbanded after released their album San Francisco in 1994 but reunited again in 2003 to record a new album Love Songs for Patriots which was well received by the critics of Europe. His latest album The Golden Age, was released in the United Kingdom on 2008.
